The Nauvoo Fire Protection District covers the city of Nauvoo plus the surrounding 5 townships. That is an area of sixty six square miles. The Fire Protection District provides both Fire and EMS coverage for the district.

The Fire Protection District recently completed the purchace of an ambulance in order to provide more complete service to the district.
